When funds are available, students are able to apply for emergency funding as a last resort. Documentation of exigent circumstances are required. All applications are subject to committee approval. The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF), a federally funded program that provides childcare assistance to eligible low-income families, provides assistance in the form of electronic vouchers that pay for all or some of an eligible family’s childcare expenses directly to the childcare provider.

Students are able to borrow a laptop for 1 or more semesters.

Public Transportation
Bus passes for the Gary transit are available for no cost at the bursar office located at the Gary or East Chicago location provides free public transportation.
